Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Systems Analyst, also known as a LIMS Specialist, to join our team. This role involves expanding laboratory systems stack knowledge and understanding local laboratory procedures. You will be responsible for supporting and configuring laboratory equipment within Empower and other systems to ensure the correct execution of laboratory testings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately translate business processes into technical terms and vice versa.
  • Build and maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements impacting the quality control laboratory, ensuring solution requirements comply.
  • Deliver and support laboratory systems stack to initiate new quality control lab operations at the Concord facility.
  • Collaborate with global system teams to ensure operational readiness of laboratory systems, supporting the operational objectives of the Concord facility (e.g., validation plans, standard operating procedures, training, etc.).
  • Produce and maintain project and validation documentation.
  • Ensure systems remain in a validated state and manage their lifecycle through releases, recapitalization, and retirement.
  • Oversee incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management in alignment with business needs.
  • Possess good experience with instruments and Lab systems (a and b).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior work experience in a pharmaceutical or other GMP setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality control laboratory IDS systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Computer System Validation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve complex issues (technical, operational, or business-related) through sound problem-solving skills.
  • Effectively prioritize and escalate issues.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and curiosity.
  • Ability to understand quality control business processes and convert them into IT requirements/solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate using various methods in diverse forums.

Managerial Skills:

  • Resource should be a quick learner and self-driven, capable of working with client partners to meet strategic objectives.
  • Must be able to identify, mentor, and hone talent to build leaders from within a team.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Waltham, MA
