Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake platform administration and data engineering, with a passion for leveraging Generative AI and LLM-based solutions. Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the Snowflake platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain data models to support various analytical and business intelligence needs.
- Utilize Python (Snowpark) and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
- Implement and enforce data governance, security policies, and compliance standards within the Snowflake environment.
- Explore and integrate Generative AI and LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, to enhance data capabilities.
- Work with Unix scripting and text processing tools for data preparation and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Familiarize yourself with cloud computing environments and best practices.
- Contribute to DataOps/DevOps practices for efficient data management and deployment.
- Support the integration of data platforms with business intelligence and collaboration tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Snowflake platform administration or data engineering.
- At least 1+ year of experience with Generative AI / LLM-based solutions.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake (SQL, SnowSQL, Cortex AI functions).
- Proficiency in Python (Snowpark) and SQL.
- Experience with data governance, security policies, and compliance.
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
- Experience with Unix scripting and text processing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DataOps / DevOps practices.
- Exposure to enterprise AI application development.
- Experience integrating data platforms with business intelligence and collaboration tools.

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
