Job Summary:
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives. The Data Engineer will support migration and integration efforts between Oracle-based systems and Snowflake, and build and optimize data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory needs. The position requires close collaboration with finance and operations teams to support data flows from back-office booking systems (OVS) into subledger platforms, and to integrate and support Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) data processing and downstream reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
- Support migration and integration efforts between Oracle-based systems and Snowflake.
- Build and optimize data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory needs.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to support data flows from back-office booking systems (OVS) into subledger platforms.
- Integrate and support Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) data processing and downstream reporting.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, Finance, and Risk.
- Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data lifecycle.
- Assist with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Development.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data warehouses.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Experience working with financial systems, particularly subledger or accounting data flows.
- Familiarity with large-scale data environments handling high transaction volumes.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) or similar finance platforms.
- Exposure to back-office or booking systems (e.g., OVS).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of data governance, regulatory reporting, or compliance frameworks within financial services.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
