Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior SAP BASIS Lead with extensive hands-on experience in S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in system upgrades, migrations, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS). This role requires proven lead-level experience in managing teams, driving end-to-end SAP landscape architecture, and handling RISE/S/4 transformations within enterprise settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes with 7+ years of experience.
- Perform technical planning, installations, and configurations for SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, and SAP Router.
- Execute system upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, and SSL certificate installations.
- Manage BRTOOLS for space management.
- Lead implementation and conversion projects for S/4HANA solutions.
- Apply Support Packages, Kernel patch upgrades, and manage TMS configuration and Transport administration.
- Maintain operation modes and profile parameters, and manage background jobs.
- Ensure SAP Backup and Recovery procedures are in place and effective.
- Provide expertise in HANA High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
- Manage SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
- Utilize strong SQL scripting knowledge, including creating Stored Procedures and troubleshooting performance issues.
- Leverage expertise in SLT and SAP Data Services.
- Perform SAP Sizing using SAP Quick Sizer.
- Manage SAP data Archiving.
- Integrate SAP HANA into different remote systems and explore various remote access options.
- Manage hardware, operating systems (LINUX), and networking connectivity for the SAP environment.
- Apply deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning, and system integration.
- Develop SAP release plans.
- Execute system refresh tasks, including client copies (local client copy, client export, client import).
- Perform performance optimization and tuning, utilizing SQL traces for Performance Impact Analysis.
- Configure and analyze Early Watch reports.
- Manage transports effectively.
- Automate SAP basis tasks through various development and scripting approaches.
- Handle Incident Management, including troubleshooting issues from the OS level, monitoring work processes, checking logs, reviewing OSS notes, providing performance analysis, and suggesting solutions for Root Cause Analysis.
- Write operational procedures and create standard documentation.
- Provide on-call support during weekdays and weekends as per schedule.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as an SAP Basis HANA Administrator.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP.
- Experience with system upgrades, migrations, and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments.
- Proven lead-level experience managing teams and driving end-to-end SAP landscape architecture.
- Experience with RISE/S/4 transformations in enterprise environments.
- Mastery of HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
- Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
- Strong SQL scripting knowledge, creating Stored procedures, troubleshooting performance issue optimization of the code.
- Expertise with SLT and SAP Data Services.
- Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quick sizer.
- Experience in SAP data Archiving.

Special Requirements
Employment Type: W2. Location: Remote. Experience: 7+ years as SAP Basis HANA Administrator. Specific experience required in S/4HANA, HANA, SAP BTP, system upgrades, migrations, cloud environments (Azure/AWS), RISE/S/4 transformations, HANA High Availability/Disaster Recovery, DMO tool, SLT, SAP Data Services, SAP Sizing, SAP Archiving, LINUX OS. Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration is a plus. Must be able to provide on-call support. No specific visa constraints mentioned.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year
