Job Title: Java MicroServices Developer (Backend)
We are seeking a skilled Java MicroServices Developer with a strong backend focus for an onsite contract position in Dallas, TX. The client is looking for candidates with extensive experience in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and building scalable microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Utilize message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices.
- Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Good understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with backend development exclusively, no full-stack required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
