Role Overview:
This role focuses on configuring and customizing SAP MM and WM modules to meet specific business requirements. The consultant will work closely with business users to gather and analyze needs, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with developers for implementation. A key aspect is developing and executing test plans to ensure configurations align with functional specifications and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MM and WM-related issues.
The consultant will also collaborate with other SAP team members to ensure seamless integration across modules, monitor and optimize inventory management processes, and document configuration changes while providing training to end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize SAP MM and WM modules to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements.
- Prepare functional requirements and collaborate with developers to implement custom solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP MM and WM configurations meet functional specifications.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MM and WM-related issues.
- Collaborate with other SAP team members to ensure seamless integration across modules.
- Monitor and optimize inventory management processes using SAP MM and WM functionalities.
- Document configuration changes and provide training to end-users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP MM and WM modules.
- Experience in medical devices, high regulatory environment.
- Preparing SDLC documents as per Part 22 CFR compliance procedures.
- Experience in integrating SAP S4 with Ariba system.
- Experience in cross-module integrations in SAP, e.g. PP/FI/SD&SO modules.
- Experience in WM with 3 PL integrations.
- Experience in enabling RF device usage for warehouse functions.
- Proven track record in SAP S4 HANA configuration and customization.
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
