Position Overview:
We have an urgent need for an experienced Data Migration Lead/Architect for a 12-month contract position. This role requires a hands-on individual who can manage and direct team activities, develop and implement a robust data migration strategy, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of migrated data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Service or Oracle Field Service, and experience with master data migration impacting multiple modules and B2B transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the daily activities of the data migration team.
- Develop, create, and implement a comprehensive Data Migration Strategy.
- Establish mechanisms for checks and balances on record counts and error handling for data validation.
- Collaborate with the PMO to provide status updates and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Identify and resolve blockers for the data migration team.
- Work with technical and business teams to identify fields for conversion and obtain sign-off on data mappings.
- Engage with business stakeholders to address questions regarding User Story functionality, data mapping, and obtain approval for data mappings.
- Create and update dashboards in Jira to track progress and issues.
- Provide support to SIT, QA, and UAT phases by answering questions related to the data migration process.
- Utilize tools like Alteryx or similar to test data migrations.
- Execute detailed data migration tasks efficiently and accurately.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience with Oracle Service or Oracle Field Service.
- Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or Architect.
- Strong understanding of master data migration processes.
- Experience with B2B transactions and multi-module data impacts.
- Proficiency in managing and directing technical teams.
- Experience with data validation and error handling.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
- Experience with data migration testing tools (e.g., Alteryx).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Duration: 12 Months.
- Location: Remote (based out of Juno Beach, FL).
