Job Description: RPA Developer – Automation Anywhere

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RPA Developer with expertise in Automation Anywhere (AA) to join our team for a long-term contract role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline business processes and improve efficiency. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation solutions using Automation Anywhere platform.
  • Install and configure the Automation Anywhere development environment, including related technologies like Splunk for logging.
  • Assess automation opportunities from a technical perspective and perform due diligence to identify optimal solutions.
  • Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDD) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate business requirements, current state, and future state process designs into efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and understandable robotic solutions using core workflow principles.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and rollout phases of automation projects.
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and Project Managers to identify and communicate project risks and issues, providing input to the change control process.
  • Resolve defects and other performance problems discovered during testing.
  • Support go-live rollouts and provide ongoing maintenance for RPA processes.
  • Create web forms that act as enablers for the RPA workflow.
  • Support issue resolution for day-to-day RPA processes, providing timely responses and solutions.
  • Develop and manage access control interfaces using the Application Modeler within Object Studio.
  • Develop business logic within code-stages using languages within the .NET family.
  • Provide input into solution integration design using Web Services / RESTFUL API access.
  • Conduct component testing on developed solutions.

Technical/Functional Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in designing and developing automation solutions using Automation Anywhere.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in at least one programming language (e.g., .Net, Java, VB, C#/C, HTML/CSS, Python, Web Services, mainframe, web applications, SQL, data integration tools, technical automation tools).
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with Automation Anywhere.
  • Experience working within an agile, continuous integration environment.
  • Ability to understand business processes and create process flow diagrams.
  • Good understanding of Process Design Documents (PDD) and Technical Design Documents (SDD) within the automation space.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
