Role Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong Thermal Engineering expertise to support advanced battery development and electrification projects. This role involves designing, analyzing, testing, and releasing battery-related components used in heavy equipment applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop battery components (cooling systems, enclosures, structures)
- Perform thermal and structural analysis
- Create and release CAD models & drawings using CREO
- Execute Design & Release (D&R) activities (markups, revisions, approvals)
- Perform hands-on testing and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (battery, manufacturing, suppliers)
- Support prototype builds and product development
Required Skills
- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- 6-8 years of experience
- Strong Thermal Engineering / Heat Transfer experience
- CREO (3D modeling + drawings)
- Design & Release experience
- Experience with at least one CAE tool (ANSYS / GT-Suite / Star-CCM+ etc.)
- Hands-on testing experience
Preferred Skills
- Battery systems (cell/module/pack) experience
- Battery thermal management
- Automotive / Heavy equipment background
- Engine cooling systems experience

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year
