Job Title: Senior B2B/EDI Developer (Altova MapForce)
We are seeking a senior-level B2B/EDI developer with approximately 8-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Altova MapForce and have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting EDI integrations. This role requires comfort working with multiple data formats including X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and CSV, along with solid experience in end-to-end implementation, from mapping and development to testing and production support. Familiarity with communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and APIs, as well as database skills (SQL/JDBC, IBMi DB), is essential. A background in logistics or supply chain, coupled with strong troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing support skills, would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support B2B/EDI integrations using Altova MapForce.
- Implement and maintain EDI transactions for common file types such as X12, EDIFACT, idocs, XML, JSON, CSV, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI transactions and communication protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Provide end-to-end support for EDI solutions, including mapping, development, testing, and production support.
- Utilize knowledge of communication protocols like AS2, SFTP, and APIs.
- Leverage database skills (SQL/JDBC, IBMi DB) for data management and integration.
- Engage in client-facing support activities, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Altova MapForce.
- Expertise in logical mapping, development, build, design, testing, implementation, and support of B2B/EDI transactions.
- Experience with common file types: X12, EDIFACT, idocs, XML, JSON, CSV.
- Knowledge of communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, API creation and troubleshooting.
- Database skills: JDBC/SQL, IBMi DB.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with emerging tools, technologies, and applications in the B2B/EDI space.
