Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong ServiceNow delivery experience to lead and manage enterprise ServiceNow initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end ServiceNow implementations and enhancements across multiple modules, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role requires hands-on experience managing ServiceNow programs involving Core Platform, Workplace Service Delivery, Enterprise Asset Management, Field Service Management, Source-to-Pay Operations, and GRC, along with excellent stakeholder management and governance skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end ServiceNow projects, from initiation and planning through execution, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  • Own project governance including scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including ServiceNow developers, architects, testers, business analysts, and vendors.
  • Manage and coordinate implementations across ServiceNow modules:
    • ServiceNow Core Platform
    • Workplace Service Delivery (WSD)
    • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
    • Field Service Management (FSM)
    • Source-to-Pay Operations
    • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives.
  • Facilitate project ceremonies including kickoffs, status meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering committee updates.
  • Track and report project progress, milestones, risks, and financials to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, SDLC methodologies, and organizational governance standards.
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and third-party dependencies.
  • Support UAT planning, go-live readiness, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across ServiceNow programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in information systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of project management experience, with 35+ years managing ServiceNow projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules, including Core, WSD, EAM, FSM, Source-to-Pay, and GRC.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow delivery lifecycle, platform capabilities, and implementation approaches.
  • Experience managing projects in Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery models.
  • Proven ability to manage complex enterprise programs with multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agilist.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, or module-specific certifications).
  • Prior experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations, data migration, and release management concepts.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $90 per year

Location: Albany, NY
