Fircosoft Analyst Role Overview

The incumbent will serve as the Sanctions Screening SME, explaining the design and purpose of Fircosoft screening platforms and watchlist filtering flows, and performing data analysis, reporting, and support for enhancements to BSA/AML and sanctions screening systems. Key Responsibilities include acting as a Sanctions Screening SME, clearly articulating screening processes and system flows to stakeholders. Partnering with Technology to stay current on Fircosoft and related platform updates. Managing Screening program initiatives from a technology perspective. Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance applications and improve operational and technical efficiency. Developing process maps, data flow diagrams, and use cases for the sanctions program. Ensuring documentation remains current as systems evolve. Driving the definition of data, logic, and ruleset requirements for screening systems. Working with business, technology, and QA teams to define, communicate, and test functional requirements. Translating complex concepts into clear documentation. Identifying technical risks and recommending mitigation strategies. Analyzing and visualizing customer, product, and transaction data to identify trends and risk changes. Producing MIS reports for senior management. Applying quantitative and statistical methods to support tool development. Staying informed on emerging analytical techniques, data sources, and technologies that support BSA/AML risk mitigation.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience with Fircosoft Continuity and Trust, including configuration, algorithm analysis, filter tuning, and using Fircosoft Classic.
  • Extensive experience drafting business requirements and test scripts, and conducting testing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL queries and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 100% remote position.
  • The contract duration is 7+ months.
  • Interviews will be conducted via Phone and Skype.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Remote
