Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA / SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite in Norwell, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for experience in the financial domain. This is an urgent hiring role with immediate submissions required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using Playwright, Postman, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software design and testability.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Work with microservices architecture and ensure quality across different services.
- Participate in performance testing and analysis.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of financial applications.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright.
- Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with REST API testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with React is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Domain Experience:
- Financial domain experience is strongly preferred.
Location and Work Arrangement:
- Location: Boston, MA (Norwell, MA for onsite work)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
- Local candidates from the Boston area are preferred.

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
