Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) Techno-Functional Consultant to lead and support subscription lifecycle implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud, Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and subscription-based business models, along with the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Design and configure Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) solutions, including product catalogs, pricing models, billing schedules, proration, and discount logic.
- Manage the end-to-end subscription lifecycle, including creation, amendments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.
- Ensure seamless integration with Oracle Fusion modules such as Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR), Revenue Management (RMCS), and Install Base.
- Drive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, including defect resolution and coordination with stakeholders.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.
- Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs), test cases, and documentation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on subscription models, SaaS billing, and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
- Support data migration and contract conversion into OSMC.
- Conduct user training sessions and ensure adoption of implemented solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC).
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Experience with Oracle modules: Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR), Revenue Management (RMCS), Install Base.
- Expertise in subscription-based business models, including recurring and usage-based billing.
- Strong knowledge of: Product catalogs & services, Pricing & rating models, Billing & invoicing, Renewals & cancellations, Revenue recognition.
- Experience in creating FDDs, test scripts, and business process documentation.
- Understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SaaS billing platforms and subscription-based business models.
- Exposure to data migration and integration tools within Oracle ecosystem.
- Prior experience working in end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $65 – $85 per year (Estimated)
Location: Schaumburg, IL
