Daily Duties:
- Daily duties include managing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a statewide network infrastructure built upon a foundation of various solutions, such as Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet/FortiGate, Certes, and Citrix NetScaler, and Trellix technologies.
- The Sr. Network Engineer will be proactive in their approach to monitor network performance, ensure efficient communication across the network, review and improve security compliance through cybersecurity best practices, and implement updates or changes to maintain optimal connectivity and secure version compliance.
- Candidate will be part of a multi-team environment and must have the ability to work as part of those teams and must have the ability to support multiple tasks at the same time, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- The candidate will work closely with technical teams and should be able to provide knowledge transfer and informal training to peers where appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of networking products.
- Troubleshoot network failures and identify network problems.
- Network analysis, design, installation, configuration, and support.
- Maintain network diagrams and other network documentation.
- Provide configuration, troubleshooting and problem resolution support.
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues in a complex, voice-integrated infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco routers
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco switches
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco administration
- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
Preferred Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools
- 10+ years of experience in core network architecture
- 10+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching
- 4+ years of experience with wireless networks
- 3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CCNP

Compensation & Location
Salary: $104,000 – $104,000 per year (Estimated)
