Job Description: Android Developer

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile architecture, Kotlin, and Java, and be passionate about creating high-quality user experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Apply best practices in mobile architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams.
  • Conduct unit testing, UI testing, and integration testing.
  • Debug and resolve performance issues and bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to improve app performance and user experience.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
  • Experience with Android Studio and Jetpack Compose.
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience in app development, including design, development, and maintenance.
  • Experience with testing and debugging, including unit testing, UI testing, and integration testing.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.

Desirable Skills:

  • ASP.Net

LOCAL ONLY!!! Must be local to Raleigh, NC.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $166,400 – $166,400 per year (Estimated)
