Role Description

Must have experience in the critical 3 to 4 data management domains, e.g., master data management, reference data, data warehousing, BI & Analytics, ETL and API development, metadata management, data security, reporting & analytics, data quality & analysis, etc.

Understand project requirements, drive scope discussions, prioritization with the alignment of project priorities with program-level goals.

Own and drive Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, and stand-up meetings for global teams ( US and India). Hold team members accountable and ensure timely delivery.

Communication: Prepare and send regular sprint updates and program updates to the identified audience.

Proactively identify assumptions, dependencies, issues, and risks by driving discussions across the team and developing a mitigation plan.

Help the extended team(s) be effective by providing insights, plans, and processes to execute highly cross-functional projects at scale.

Must have the ability and experience to start a brand new project and drive end-to-end delivery. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to take the project midstream and ensure successful delivery.

Hands-on day-to-day program/ project mgmt and the ability to progress in highly ambiguous problem spaces are musts.

Excellent understanding of tech stack for data management and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product and engineering teams to create & manage implementation plans, including dependency mapping across multiple groups.
  • Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Manage all aspects of program deliverables.
  • Lead planning for Agile Sprints and managed scrum teams for agile delivery.
  • Play a key role in improving operational efficiencies through system automation and process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of project/product planning & implementation experience related to data management, identity & access management, application data security configuration.
  • This position requires strong technical acumen, project management, and communication skills.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Data management.
  • Ability to see the big picture, balance a broad range of internal and external factors when identifying problems, proposing solutions, and making decisions.
  • Experience communicating across a wide variety of functions (e.g., Engineering, Business, Product Management).
  • Proven experience leading the day to day activities of multiple scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in transactional and analytical data management solutions.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: master data management, data analysis, data quality, data integration, data governance, analytics, etc.
  • Experience working within software development, information security, database or Internet-related industries, security engineering, privacy engineering.
  • Strong track record of KPI management and delivery.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: San Jose, CA
