Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design and implementation of ITOM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, and AIOps, with a strong focus on operational visibility, automation, and service health monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design
    • Architect scalable and integrated ITOM solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
    • Define and implement CMDB strategies, service modeling, and dependency mapping.
    • Design solutions that support proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and operational intelligence.
  • Implementation & Integration
    • Lead implementation of ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and AIOps.
    • Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Operational Excellence
    • Enable real-time visibility into infrastructure and services through dashboards and health indicators.
    • Automate remediation workflows and incident correlation using Event Management and AIOps.
  • Governance & Best Practices
    • Establish CMDB governance, data quality standards, and reconciliation rules.
    • Define best practices for ITOM processes, integrations, and platform performance.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to align ITOM capabilities with operational goals.
    • Mentor developers and platform engineers on ITOM architecture and implementation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in ServiceNow ITOM architecture and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and monitoring tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
  • Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide), MID Server configuration, and integration patterns.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Charlotte, NC
