Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Public Safety Remedy CMDB Developer (Level 3) to join our team for a 24-month contract. This role requires 100% on-site presence from day one in Brooklyn, NY. The primary focus will be on evaluating, gathering, and reviewing current BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB practices and processes for both current Business As Usual (BAU) work and NextGen initiatives. The developer will be instrumental in troubleshooting, auditing, and optimizing ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and gather current BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB practices and processes for BAU and NextGen work.
  • Review Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and other ITIL process areas for BAU and NextGen work.
  • Review lifecycle tools such as Discovery, ADDM, Netscout, SCCM, and other CMDB-related tools and products.
  • Troubleshoot and audit Incident, Release, Change, and Lifecycle Management processes.
  • Identify and ensure critical Configuration Items (CIs) for current state and NextGen are properly accounted for and documented in the CMDB.
  • Identify, add, modify, and remove CIs via automation/Remedy workflow.
  • Perform reconciliation and validation of CI relationships for BAU and NextGen work.
  • Audit configuration records and dependency information for BAU and NextGen work.
  • Identify areas for optimization and recommend best practices for BAU and NextGen work.
  • Examine and recommend enhancements and potential tool-sets for Incident, Change, Service Requests, Release, and Lifecycle control procedures.
  • Provide applicable documentation, workflows, and diagrams.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in BMC Remedy ARS, CMDB, ITSM, SLM, SRM development, customization, administration, and support.
  • Remedy ARS, CMDB, ITSM installation and configuration experience in version 18.x and up.
  • Remedy integration experience with other tools like ADDM, Netcool/ScienceLogic, Active Directory.
  • Remedy smart reporting experience.
  • BMC Remedy and ITIL certification highly desired.

Work Location:

100% On-site from Day One in Brooklyn, NY.

Duration:

24 months (35 hours per week)

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $100 per year (Estimated)
