Job Summary:
Eniac Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Android Developer to join their team in Raleigh, NC. This is a contract position where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features, applying best practices in mobile architecture such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture. The role involves writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conducting unit, UI, and integration testing, and debugging performance issues and bugs. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement, staying updated with the latest Android trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Apply best practices in mobile architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct unit testing, UI testing, and integration testing.
- Debug and resolve performance issues and bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies.
- Propose and implement enhancements to improve app performance and user experience.
Technical Skills:
- Languages: Kotlin, Java
- Tools: Jetpack Compose, Android Studio
- Architecture: MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture
- Testing: Unit Testing, UI Testing, Integration Testing
- Desirable: ASP.Net
Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin and Java. Experience with modern architectural patterns and a commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable code are essential. Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and Android Studio is expected. Experience with ASP.Net is a plus.
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary: $60 – $85 per year (Estimated)
