Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer with proficiency in PLC Programming, specifically using Codesys. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills in electrical engineering, including knowledge of harness design, electrical schematics design, and DC circuit troubleshooting. A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic controls, as well as engine diagnostics, drivetrain, driveline, and diesel engines, is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PLC programs using Codesys.
- Design and troubleshoot electrical schematics and DC circuits (12 and 24 VDC).
- Understand and work with low/medium voltage AC system power distribution.
- Collaborate on harness design and electrical system components.
- Gain knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
- Assist with engine diagnostics and understanding of drivetrain/diesel engine components.
- Maintain a high degree of accountability for project commitments and business objectives.
- Communicate effectively, both written and orally, with all levels of employees and outside representatives.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Explain technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with PLC Programming (Codesys, J1939).
- Solid technical skills in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of Harness design, Electrical Schematics Design, and DC Circuit and Troubleshooting.
- Understanding of 12 and 24 VDC circuit analysis (low/medium voltage AC system power distribution, circuit, and controls understanding).
- Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
- Background in engine diagnostics and general knowledge in drivetrain, driveline, and diesel engines.
- Strong computer skills including Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $75,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
