Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and enhancement of critical IT projects for DDAP, including the iSMART (Training Management System replacement) and continued support of the Web Infrastructure for Treatments (WITS) product. The role requires a candidate residing in Pennsylvania, with the ability to work onsite in Harrisburg two days a week.

Objective of Role

To serve as the Lead PM for the implementation and enhancement of several large, critical IT projects for DDAP. The PM is ultimately responsible for the DDAP program implementation, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and meeting all business, technical, and quality requirements.

Operational Requirements

  • Direct, administer, manage, and facilitate an enhancement, re-engineering of a business process, or a developmental project.
  • Ensure project completion on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality requirements.
  • Familiarity with the five phases of project management as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for consulting with program areas and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Enterprise ELS PM for the ELS initiative by managing the DDAP work adhering to the established timeline/schedule.
  • Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for the complete project lifecycle, including planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop and manage project estimates, Project Management Plans, and project schedules.
  • Monitor and track project progress, budget, and milestones, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure all changes to scope follow defined processes and are documented.
  • Prepare and distribute status reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions between IT areas and vendors to ensure project needs are met.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues using a RAID Log and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives.
  • Ensure project compliance with HHS DC IT PMO standards and procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct training and orientation sessions.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania upon submittal.
  • Ability to work in the Harrisburg office two (2) days a week as requested.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
