Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team for a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing projects within state motor vehicle agencies and a strong understanding of contract lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation to closure.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
- Implement project management best practices, including PMP or Scrum methodologies.
- Conduct project post-mortems and identify lessons learned.
Requirements
- At least seven (7) FTE years of experience working with a state motor vehicle agency.
- Valid PMP or Scrum Master Certification (SCM).
- At least five (5) FTE years of experience working with a California state agency.
- At least ten (10) FTE years of experience managing and/or working on a contract across its full lifecycle, from execution to expiration.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.).
- Minimum of five (5) years of overall project management experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
