Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with a minimum of 10 years of experience for a long-term contract role. The candidate must possess strong skills in database optimization and tuning, and hold a DBA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform database optimization and tuning to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, and patching.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures.
  • Ensure data integrity and perform regular backups and recovery operations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application requirements.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Proven experience in database optimization and tuning.
  • Must hold a DBA certification.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration.
  • Experience with database security, backup, and recovery.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This is a remote, long-term contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database administration, with a focus on performance tuning and optimization. A valid DBA certification is mandatory.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
