Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer/Senior Developer/Java Lead with expertise in backend development, including Kafka, MongoDB, and microservices. This role offers flexible rates based on experience and requires candidates to be USC, GC, GC EAD, or EAD-OPT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust Java applications.
  • Design and implement solutions using Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, and reactive programming principles.
  • Architect and design enterprise-scale solutions, particularly within payments domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Java development.
  • Strong understanding of Spring Boot framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB for database management.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Reactive programming concepts.
  • Experience in application development.
  • Knowledge of OCP is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Payments Transformation.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT, FED, and CHIPS is preferable.

Work Location

This position is based in Charlotte, NC, and Edison, NJ. Candidates should be local to the Charlotte, NC area.

Employment Type and Compensation

  • Employment Type: W2, C2C, 1099, Contract, Full-Time, Remote, Onsite, Hybrid (This role is specified as Onsite W2).
  • Compensation: Flexible rates based on experience.
  • Java Developer (5-7 years): $50/hr
  • Java Senior Developer (7-10 years): $55/hr
  • Java Lead (10-15 years): $60/hr

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, GC EAD, or OPT EAD.
  • DOB should be 1995, 1994, or below. Candidates born in 1996 or 1997 will not be accepted.
  • I-94 and Passport number are required.

Special Requirements

DOB must be 1995 or below. I-94 and PP number required. USC, GC, GC EAD, EAD-OPT candidates only.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $50 – $60 per year (Estimated)
