Job Description: Business Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong P&C insurance domain exposure to join our team. This role is crucial for defining configuration requirements and developing an overall configuration approach for our clients. You will be instrumental in producing requirement and functional design documents using an agile gap analysis and directed requirements approach to lead customer needs definition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to define configuration requirements and develop an overall configuration approach.
- Produce requirement and functional design documents using an agile gap analysis and directed requirements approach to lead customer needs definition.
- Clarify domain-related queries for the Scrum team.
- Create and review functional requirements and gap documents through process flows and diagrams.
- Configure products and business process rules to solve customer business challenges.
- Provide input to the Product Management team regarding customer configuration concepts and further development of base product features.
- Review end-to-end test strategy and cases for customer scenarios.
- Train end-users on implemented business functionalities.
- Manage end-to-end business requirement sessions, including running workshops.
- Take end-to-end ownership for business deliverables on a project.
- Coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the P&C insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts and processes.
- Experience with agile methodologies and requirement gathering techniques.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with customers and technical teams.
Additional Information:
This is a contract position with a duration of 6+ months, located in Erie, PA. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately to our client’s projects.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $50,000 – $90,000 per year (Estimated)
