About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on payment systems to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role based in O’Fallon, MO, requiring local candidates. You will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of our payment processing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust software solutions using C, C++, or Java.
- Implement and manage socket programming, Inter-Process Communication (IPC), and shared memory concepts.
- Utilize unit test tools and static code analysis tools to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Employ debuggers effectively to identify and resolve complex software issues.
- Test software across a variety of platforms, ensuring cross-compatibility and performance.
- Contribute to the building and utilization of automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Apply knowledge of payment domains and specifically ISO 8583 protocols.
- Create and analyze functional tests based on detailed requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Technical Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in C, C++ or Java development.
- Proficiency in socket programming, IPC, and Shared memory.
- Experience with Unit test tools, Static code analysis tools, and debuggers.
- Proven experience in testing across diverse platforms.
- Exposure to building and using automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Payment domain and ISO 8583 protocols is highly desirable.
- Experience in creating and analyzing functional tests.

This role is part of the MC Quality Engineering project, focusing on ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance in our payment processing systems.
