Role Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Java Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Springboot, and Microservices-based development. The role requires strong knowledge of Apache Camel for system integration and Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures. Experience with Quarkus for building lightweight, cloud-native applications is a plus. The position is onsite in Jersey City, NJ, for a duration of 6+ months contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Core Java, Springboot, and Microservices.
- Implement system integrations using Apache Camel.
- Design and develop event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Build lightweight, cloud-native applications using Quarkus (preferred).
- Utilize Azure Cloud Services, including Azure DB.
- Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Manage code using Git.
- Develop and test RESTful APIs using Postman.
- Apply knowledge of the Insurance domain (preferred).
- Participate in Agile delivery processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Springboot, and Microservices development.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Camel for system integration.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services, including Azure DB.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing using Postman.
- Experience of working in Agile delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Quarkus for building lightweight, cloud-native applications.
- Insurance domain knowledge and experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
