Job Summary
Tek Inspirations LLC is seeking a highly skilled Lead ServiceNow Software Engineer with a focus on Cybersecurity (Vulnerability Response) to join our team. This is a 12-month contract position with a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days onsite per week at one of our core offices: Charlotte, NC; McLean, VA; Minneapolis, MN; San Antonio, TX; or Chandler, AZ. The Lead ServiceNow Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) solutions within a cybersecurity environment, providing technical leadership for enterprise vulnerability management and platform engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) solutions across the enterprise.
- Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications using scripting (JavaScript) and low-code capabilities.
- Own the full software lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and L3 production support.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, driving enterprise-wide initiatives and ensuring alignment with architecture and governance standards.
- Ensure that all developed solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards and risk requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, coding, and integration issues.
- Manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Collaborate effectively with architecture, governance, and engineering teams to promote best practices.
- Support Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Develop workflows and automation to streamline business processes and vulnerability remediation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration, or administration experience.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and SQL.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist (VR).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow tools such as Service Portal, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ATF.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience building REST/SOAP integrations and API development.
- Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Wiz, NVD) and vulnerability remediation processes.
- Agile delivery experience.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
