About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with over 10 years of experience to join our client’s team. This role involves designing and delivering full-stack technology solutions, with a focus on creating optimal data pipelines and modern, interactive web applications. You will work with a diverse tech stack including Python, AWS, Snowflake, and React, and play a key role in enhancing scalability, performance, and data delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement optimal data pipelines using Apache Airflow DAGs, Docker, AWS, Python, or Snowflake.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
- Design and develop modern, interactive, user-friendly web applications (UI) using React, Material UI, and similar frameworks.
- Implement infrastructure improvements for enhanced scalability and automated processes.
- Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using AWS and SQL technologies.
- Develop analytical tools to provide insights into key business performance metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including data, design, product, and executive teams, on data-related technical issues.
- Communicate complex technical challenges and solutions clearly to peers and junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering full-stack technology solutions, preferably within Asset Management or financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to propose and implement solutions across full-stack applications and data pipelines running in the cloud (preferably AWS).
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architectures, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with tech stack: React, Python, AWS, Lambda, Redshift, S3.
- Experience with platforms like Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet is a plus.
- Knowledge of business domains such as research, portfolio construction, trading and execution, performance attribution across equities, fixed income, and derivatives is beneficial.
- Technical skills: AWS (SNS, SQS, EC2, Lambda), Databases (Redshift or Snowflake), Python (Object-Oriented) & SQL, Containers (Kubernetes or Docker), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab or Bamboo), RESTful APIs, Apache Airflow Orchestration.
- Web UI skills: Python, DJANGO, XML, CSS, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, and jQuery.
- Experience with or interest in using AI enabled development (Copilot, Claude, or others).
Education:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.

This is a contract position with a duration of 12+ months. The role is based in Philadelphia, PA.
