Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in the Telecommunications industry to join our team in Piscataway, NJ. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams (development, QA, and architecture) to define requirements, analyze complex systems, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users, product managers, and architects to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and document complex telecom workflows, focusing on provisioning, service delivery, and network inventory.
- Perform gap analysis between current system capabilities and future business requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and clarity of requirements.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL to validate requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and support backend logic validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Telecom Domain Expertise (Mandatory): 5+ years of experience working specifically in the Telecommunications industry. Must understand concepts such as: Order Management (OM), Service Activation & Provisioning, Inventory Management (Network/Logical), OSS/BSS systems.
- Technical Analysis: Proven experience as a “Technical BA” with the ability to read/understand API specifications (JSON/XML), database schemas, and system integration logic.
- Tools: Expertise in Jira and Confluence.
