Job Summary:
Scalable Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility Industry Project Manager with over 20 years of experience for an onsite contract role in Rosemead, CA. This position requires a PMP certification and extensive experience managing large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs, particularly within the utility sector. The role involves working with Agile and Hybrid delivery models and managing complex transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage enterprise-level programs and projects with a focus on the utility industry.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and dependency management for multi-year programs.
- Oversee projects related to Metering, Meter Operations, Billing, and Customer Service processes.
- Deliver programs utilizing both Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
- Manage executive stakeholders and vendors effectively.
- Drive complex enterprise transformation initiatives from conception to completion.
- Provide strategic planning and leadership to project teams.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Leverage knowledge of Smart Metering systems and related components.
Required Qualifications:
- 20+ years of experience in Enterprise Program and Project Management.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Strong experience managing large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs.
- Experience in governance, risk management, and dependency management for multi-year programs.
- Knowledge of Utility Industry processes including Metering, Meter Operations, Billing, and Customer Service.
- Experience delivering programs within Agile and Hybrid delivery models.
- Strong executive stakeholder and vendor management experience.
- Experience managing complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Smart Metering systems and related components.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
