About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced FinOps Consultant to lead and implement our FinOps strategy and governance. This role is crucial for driving cloud cost visibility, optimization, and savings initiatives. You will be responsible for building dashboards, reports, and insights for engineering and finance teams, collaborating across departments to align cloud spend with business goals, and automating cost controls to improve FinOps maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement FinOps strategy & governance.
- Drive cloud cost visibility, optimization & savings initiatives.
- Build dashboards, reports & insights for engineering and finance teams.
- Collaborate across teams to align cloud spend with business goals.
- Automate cost controls and improve FinOps maturity.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in FinOps / Cloud Cost Management.
- Strong experience with AWS / Azure / GCP billing models.
- Expertise in rightsizing, savings plans, and cost optimization techniques.
- Experience with SQL and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- FinOps Foundation certification (FinOps Certified Practitioner) or equivalent.
- Certifications from cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or IBM Cloud certifications are a plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
