Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Java Lead Developer with a minimum of 12 years of experience to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in Java 8, Advanced Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, along with proven experience in Rest API development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and the ability to guide a development team effectively. This is a hybrid position based in Southfield, MI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications.
- Develop and maintain robust Rest APIs.
- Utilize Java 8, Advanced Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture in development.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
