About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appian Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, creating, and documenting high-level Appian architectural solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will provide development leadership, guide developers on Appian best practices, and design and implement integrations with external systems.
- Define, create, and document high level Appian architectural solutions ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Provide development leadership and guide developers on Appian best practices including SAIL, data modeling, process modeling, and integrations.
- Design and implement integrations with external systems including REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to Appian development standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform performance tuning using Appian Health Check, logs, and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting robust and scalable Appian solutions that meet business requirements.
- Leading Appian development teams and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Developing and maintaining integrations with various external systems.
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to developers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope and technical requirements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to Appian applications.
- Mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 10 years of IT experience with at least 4 years dedicated to Appian.
- Appian Certified Lead Developer or Senior Developer certification highly preferred.
- Expert level proficiency with Appian SAIL, process models, records, reports, and smart services.
- Strong integration skills with RESTful APIs, web services, and databases.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Appian.
- Background working in Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
