About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Python / Applied ML Engineer to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing Contact Center Insights platforms. This role is crucial for developing and enhancing our AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the banking contact center technology landscape and be adept at creating innovative, scalable solutions. You will integrate existing capabilities with proprietary system builds, leveraging cutting-edge data science and applied ML techniques to achieve significant business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance an AI insights platform utilizing Python, Hybrid RAG (combining semantic and keyword retrieval), and grounded LLM workflows.
- Extract, categorize, and summarize insights from enterprise text and knowledge sources.
- Apply advanced data science techniques, including exploratory analysis, feature engineering, statistical methods, clustering/classification, topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and evaluation metrics, to improve the quality, relevance, and accuracy of insights.
- Design and execute experiments to track model and LLM performance over time.
- Build a Natural Language Query (NLQ) interface and develop robust API integrations to connect the platform with upstream and downstream systems.
- Enable automated workflows and ensure seamless consumption of AI outputs by various systems.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive dashboard (using React and backend APIs) to visualize trends, classifications, and key metrics.
- Deliver scalable, production-ready services, adhering to best practices in testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and operational support within an agile, cross-functional environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 15+ years of overall software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML).
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Hybrid RAG and Natural Language Query (NLQ) technologies.
- Proven experience in delivering production-grade AI solutions.
- Extensive experience with integrations and data ingestion from sources such as Genesys Cloud, Salesforce, and various internal/external APIs.
- Skilled in monitoring, debugging, and optimizing data pipelines and data flows.
- Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and working with structured & semi-structured data (ETL/analysis).
- Exposure to data science and compute environments like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency with JIRA for project management.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Python, Hybrid RAG, and NLQ Interface development.
- Prior experience in Wealth Management and Contact Center domains.
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
