Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Architect with mandatory Government Agency experience for a critical 23-month engagement in Albany, NY. This role requires a deep understanding of designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in architecting solutions that meet stringent government requirements and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture.
- Apply expertise in data structures, algorithms, software design, and JEE design patterns.
- Develop applications using Java Development Kit (JDK 1.8 or higher).
- Utilize J2EE based Application Servers such as WebSphere Application Server 7.0 or higher.
- Develop applications using JPA and/or Hibernate with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
- Implement messaging technologies, such as MQ & JMS.
- Develop web applications using JSF/JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Government Agency experience is MANDATORY. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Technical Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms, software design and JEE design patterns.
- 84 months of experience in developing applications using JAVA Development Kit (JDK 1.8 or higher).
- 72 months of experience using J2EE based Application Servers such as WebSphere Application Server 7.0 or higher.
- 72 months of experience in developing applications using JPA and/or Hibernate using Oracle or SQL Server databases.
- 72 months of experience in messaging technologies, such as MQ & JMS.
- 72 months of experience with web development using JSF/JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
