Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong focus on Release Engineering and Observability. This is a 100% onsite position in Scottsdale, AZ, offered on a C2C contract basis. The role involves owning the release automation, deployment strategies, and ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own release automation, deployment strategies, rollback mechanisms, and release validation.
- Ensure the safety, reliability, monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness of production systems through continuous improvements.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex production incidents and service degradations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes across on-premises and AWS Cloud environments.
- Manage and monitor REST API services in production environments.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Solid hands-on experience in SRE or Release Engineering roles.
- Strong experience deploying and operating containerized applications on Kubernetes across on-Prem and AWS Cloud.
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Proven experience supporting REST API services in production environments.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana).
- Experience leading incident response and post-incident reviews.
Nice to Have:
- Python scripting for automation and platform tooling.
- Knowledge or experience with Honeycomb for observability.

- Estimated C2C rates: $70-$85/hour.
