Role: Junior – ECM Solutions Designer – SharePoint Technical Specialist

This role requires a skilled technical specialist with extensive experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, specifically focusing on SharePoint. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing SharePoint-based solutions to meet business needs. A strong understanding of business analysis, SharePoint architecture, and quality assurance is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop SharePoint and web-based solutions.
  • Work autonomously and drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Utilize expertise in SharePoint lists, libraries, content types, site structures, and web solutions.
  • Perform comprehensive QA testing, including system-level, workflow, scenario-based, and edge-case validation.
  • Design, validate, and support web and workflow-based solutions.
  • Analyze business processes and perform business process re-engineering.
  • Author structured, user-focused documentation compliant with WCAG accessibility guidelines.
  • Collaborate within Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Act as a SharePoint Designer or Site Owner.
  • Utilize work management tools like Azure DevOps.

Required Skills (8+ years):

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise-level environments.
  • Proven senior-level experience designing SharePoint and web-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced expertise in SharePoint lists, libraries, content types, site structures, and web solutions.
  • Strong background in comprehensive QA testing, including system-level, workflow, scenario-based, and edge-case validation.
  • Experience designing, validating, and supporting web and workflow-based solutions.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Proven experience evaluating business processes and performing business process re-engineering.
  • Significant experience authoring structured, user-focused documentation including user guides, technical reference documents, and knowledge articles in compliance with WCAG accessibility guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience as a SharePoint Designer or SharePoint Site Owner.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar work management tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of NCDOT Preconstruction business processes.
  • Experience with Balsamiq Wireframes.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience working in ServiceNow.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Copilot agents.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year
