About the Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced Program Strategist for a remote contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, AI product management, and extensive experience with state government clients. This role requires candidates to be in the EST time zone and possess excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for defining program strategies, developing tactical plans, and ensuring successful implementation of IT enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and advance program strategies, devising tactics to achieve incremental goals.
- Lead and manage complex IT projects using Agile, PERT, and Gantt methodologies.
- Oversee product requirements definition and solution prototype development, with a focus on AI products.
- Conduct Pattern of Life analysis and Geospatial analysis of State Government problems, including child welfare, public safety, fraud/program integrity, and risk management.
- Implement IT enterprise solutions involving data analytics.
- Engage with all levels of the organization to gain support and buy-in.
- Identify key stakeholders and ensure their support throughout the program lifecycle.
- Manage program budgets, scope, and project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct extensive interviews, lead workshops, and discovery sessions.
- Collaborate on technology roadmaps and draft comprehensive reports.
- Ensure candidates have very good communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters, MBA, or Executive MBA degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum twenty (20) years of experience in project management roles for state, local, or corporate clients.
- Proven expertise in AI product management, product requirements definition, and solution prototype development.
- Proven expertise in Pattern of Life analysis and Geospatial analysis of State Govt problems (child welfare, public safety, fraud/program integrity, risk management).
- Deep knowledge and successful experience implementing IT enterprise solutions involving data analytics.
- Skill in engaging all levels of an organization and gaining their support.
- Successful history of using Agile, PERT, and Gantt methodologies.
- Understanding of strategy advancement and tactical planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience identifying key stakeholders and winning their support.
- Skill in managing budgets, scope, project risk, and delivering results.
- Successful history of conducting interviews, leading workshops, discovery sessions, collaborating on roadmaps, and drafting reports.
