Job Description:
Seeking a senior Telecom System Architect to design scalable, fault-tolerant mediation architectures. This role involves handling file ingestion, format conversion, and SFTP processes. The architect will work with Java 17 and Spring Boot, including Integration, Batch, and Kafka components. A key responsibility is parsing binary telecom data such as ASN.1 encoded CDRs/UDRs and AMA records.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant mediation architectures (file ingestion, format conversion, SFTP)
- Java 17 and Spring Boot (Integration, Batch, Kafka)
- Parse binary telecom data ASN.1 encoded CDRs/UDRs, AMA records
- Kubernetes/OpenShift (Helm, PVC, scaling, rolling upgrades)
- Oracle schema design and PL/SQL optimization
- Apache Kafka at scale (partition strategies, consumer tuning)
- Observability: ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana
- JVM performance tuning and debugging
- SRE mindset (SLOs, incident response, error budgets)
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Telecom OSS/BSS domain knowledge
- Chaos engineering experience
