Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to modernize a financial system. The role requires professional experience working with web-based applications using Oracle as a backend, with in-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, and Javascript/Jquery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and troubleshooting web applications, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modernize financial systems using Oracle APEX.
- Develop and maintain web-based applications using Oracle as the backend.
- Write complex SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, and Javascript/Jquery code.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot application features.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze new requirements.
- Prepare functional and system specifications.
- Develop data models and system designs.
- Test applications and evaluate results for accuracy, timelines, and integrative features.
- Prepare documentation for developed applications.
- Implement and support data processing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
- Assess the impact of software upgrades and environment changes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Professional experience working with web-based applications using Oracle as the backend.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming.
- Experience in APEX and HTML is required.
- Experience with Javascript or Jquery is required.
- Strong background and work experience in developing true web applications.
- Knowledge in software development and installation.
- Experience with change management, Git CI/CD pipeline, and testing.
- Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
- Seven or more years of work experience in Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge in conducting feasibility studies; analyzing new requirements; preparing functional and system specifications for application programmers; developing data models and system designs; developing complex program codes; testing application and evaluating results for accuracy, timelines and integrative features; preparing documentation; implementing and supporting data processing systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
