Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting OCI Landing Zones, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and governance requirements. This role involves defining tenancy-wide architecture, designing hub-and-spoke network topologies, and implementing robust security and identity management strategies within OCI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect OCI Landing Zone aligned with enterprise security and governance requirements.
- Define tenancy-wide architecture including compartment hierarchy for PROD, NON-PROD, and shared services.
- Design landing zone frameworks with security-by-design and governance-first principles.
- Architect hub-and-spoke network topology using OCI VCNs, subnets, DRG, and centralized ingress/egress.
- Define OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy using least privilege access principles.
- Implement OCI security architecture using Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and IAM policies.
- Establish centralized logging and monitoring using OCI Audit Logs, Service Logs, Logging Analytics, and Monitoring.
- Design network security architecture using NSGs, Security Lists, OCI Network Firewall, and Bastion service.
- Architect encryption strategy using OCI Vault and customer-managed encryption keys.
- Define governance guardrails including tagging strategy, budget controls, and policy enforcement.
- Ensure landing zone alignment with CIS OCI Foundations Benchmark and OCI security best practices.
- Define Infrastructure as Code approach using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Provide architecture guidance for workload onboarding, migration, and cloud expansion.
- Collaborate with security, network, and platform teams to ensure consistent adoption of landing zone standards.
- Produce architecture diagrams, design documentation, and reference architectures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and enterprise infrastructure design.
- Strong experience designing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Landing Zones.
- Experience defining OCI tenancy architecture and compartment design.
- Strong expertise in OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation and architecture.
- Experience designing OCI networking architecture including VCNs, DRG, subnets, and hub-and-spoke topology.
- Experience implementing OCI security services such as Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and IAM policies.
- Strong experience designing network security using NSGs, Security Lists, Network Firewall, and Bastion.
- Experience implementing centralized logging and monitoring using OCI Logging and Monitoring services.
- Experience designing encryption strategies and key management using OCI Vault.
- Experience implementing governance frameworks including tagging, budget controls, and policies.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and governance frameworks including CIS benchmarks.
