Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled .NET Full Stack Developer to join the State of Michigan – Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) team, supporting the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This role involves acting as a developer and analyst to provide maintenance and support for various MDHHS applications. The position requires a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of two days per week onsite.

Experience Required:
Strictly 13+ years of experience candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a developer and analyst for maintenance and support of State of Michigan applications.
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, and related technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful web services and Web APIs.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries and statements.
- Develop code for document upload functionality from websites.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM processes and sprint development teams.
- Utilize GIT for code repository management.
- Develop unit and regression tests.
- Ensure secure coding practices to prevent common vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, SQL injection).
- Integrate with identity providers (IdP) using OpenID Connect (OIDC) or SAML.
- Manage SDLC using Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of .NET CORE 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C# experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing with REST web service interfaces or Web APIs.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL including writing and maintaining complex Select/Insert/Update statements.
- 3+ years of experience with developing code to allow users to upload documents from a website.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile / SCRUM processes and working in Sprint Development team.
- 5+ years of experience working with GIT code repository software.
- 5+ years of experience developing unit and regression tests.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience developing secure websites using industry best practices (e.g., preventing cross-site scripting or SQL injection attacks, coding logging into software functionality).
- 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps / TFS using boards and code repository.
- Familiarity with SendGrid.
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Familiarity with identity provider (IdP) integration using OpenID Connect (OIDC) or SAML.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent for SDLC management.
Special Requirements
Hybrid, Onsite 2 days/week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), In-person interviews, Manager requires 2-3 references attached in a separate document to bid submittal.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $85 per year (Estimated)
