Job Title: SAP Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Data Engineer with a strong background in SAP reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience and possess deep expertise in BW, BI, Datasphere, and SAC. This is a senior-level, onsite contract position with a duration of 12+ months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SAP data products using BW, BI, Datasphere, and SAC.
  • Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Experience in converting data solutions from on-premise to cloud environments.
  • Work with SAC Planning and SAP Business Data Cloud for advanced planning solutions.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered with first-time right and zero-defect production releases.
  • Utilize Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP reporting platforms.
  • Very strong proficiency in core SAP Data Products: BW, BI, Datasphere, SAC.
  • Proven experience in data modeling and creating data products.
  • Good to have experience with SAC Planning and SAP Business Data Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology is a plus.
  • Experience in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
  • Culture of delivering projects with high quality and zero defects.
