Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to support and enhance a large-scale statewide Child Support System. This role involves working on critical system modernization, integration, and ongoing maintenance within a Linux-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Natural and ADABAS
- Support batch and online processing (JCL/SCL)
- Work on system enhancements, modernization, and integrations
- Analyze complex requirements and provide scalable solutions
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Train end users and support teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Natural & ADABAS development experience
- Strong experience with JCL/SCL batch processing and online systems
- Experience working on large-scale Linux systems (2+ years)
- Experience with child support or similar government systems (4+ years)
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design
- Experience implementing state/federal mandates in enterprise systems
Preferred Skills
- Web Services / API integration
- NaturalONE (SAG Designer)
- Agile/SCRUM methodology
- Jira or similar tools
- Experience modernizing legacy systems
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings

Special Requirements

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year
