Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HRMS Functional Lead for a remote contract position. The role involves managing and configuring Oracle HRMS modules, driving requirement gathering, and supporting various testing cycles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle EBS R12 and its core HR functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure Oracle HRMS Core HR and SSHR modules.
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops and conduct GAP analysis.
  • Develop functional design documentation (BR100, MD050).
  • Maintain and update HR Security Profiles, Custom Security, and Organization Hierarchies.
  • Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Payroll Parallel Runs.
  • Review HR processes, propose optimizations, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Coordinate with Technical teams on integrations, conversions, customizations, and reports.
  • Validate payroll calculations, costing, and end-to-end process flows.
  • Support AME rules, workflow approvals, and form personalizations from a functional perspective.
  • Conduct HR data validations and support employee data corrections.
  • Perform impact analysis for patches, upgrades, and monthly releases.
  • Create user training documents and provide end-user training.
  • Collaborate with SOA/EDI/Network/IDM teams for functional coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with HR audits, security reviews, and change management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Oracle E Business Suite R12 (12.1.x / 12.2.x) Core HR, SSHR, OAF Self Service.
  • Strong understanding of HR setups: Jobs, Positions, Grade/Grade Rates, Salary Basis, People Management, Element Eligibility.
  • Hands-on experience with HR Security Profiles, Custom Security, Security Groups, Org Hierarchies.
  • Expertise with AME, Approvals, Fast Formulas (functional understanding).
  • Strong exposure to AOL objects (Users, Responsibilities, Menus, Functions, Profile Options).
  • Familiarity with AOL setups: Value Sets, Lookups, UDTs, Concurrent Programs, Request Groups.
  • Knowledge of HR Workflows, Mailer setups, and Notifications.
  • Understanding of integrations, inbound/outbound interfaces, XML Publisher, Alerts, WebADIs.
  • Experience in test cycles: Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, Payroll Parallel Runs.
  • Understanding of HR audits, access reviews, and GRC controls.
  • Ability to write BR100, MD050 (Functional), TE040 test scripts, SOPs.

Contract Details:

This is a remote contract position with an estimated duration of 6+ months. The role is open to candidates in Arizona.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
