Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Java Developer with a strong React.js focus and excellent PL/SQL skills to join our client’s team. This role is backend-heavy (70% backend, 30% frontend) and requires candidates to be proficient in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Oracle PL/SQL. The position is for an onsite role, with potential work locations in Chantilly, VA, or Middletown, NJ. F2F interviews are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js.
- Manage and migrate minimal legacy components built in Angular.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle.
- Support backend development with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs as needed.
- Perform system integration with backend services and ensure efficient data exchange.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with React.js (including Hooks, Redux, or Context API).
- Solid expertise in Oracle PL/SQL: writing complex queries, procedures, and optimizing performance.
- Strong working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience integrating React applications with RESTful APIs.
- Basic understanding of Angular for light maintenance or migration purposes.
- Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Backend-heavy development experience (70% backend / 30% frontend).
