Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies and a passion for retail environments. This is an onsite position located in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience and a solid understanding of Java Microservices, Kubernetes, Cloud Native (AWS), Kafka Integration, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage complex IT systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Java Microservices to support business applications.
- Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Implement and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Integrate systems using Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) principles and technologies to enhance system capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Mandatory experience with Microsoft (MS) systems.
- Proficiency in Java Microservices development.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Cloud Native architectures, particularly AWS.
- Experience with Kafka for integration and data streaming.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and applications.
- Experience with Sterling OMS is a plus.
- Retail experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
