Job Opportunity: Workday Project Manager & Workday Technical Integrations (Remote)

Tekfortune is seeking experienced professionals for two critical roles: Workday Project Manager and Workday Technical Integrations Specialist. Both positions are fully remote, offering a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to significant Workday implementations.

Workday Project Manager

Location: Remote

Mandatory Certification: PMP Certification or Workday Project Management Certification

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage integrated project plan and execution cadence.
  • Plan and track testing cycles including daily progress and defect tracking.
  • Coordinate cutover readiness and go-live checklist.
  • Track risks and issues and drive closure.
  • Own end-to-end delivery governance across workstreams.
  • Lead testing execution cadence including readiness checkpoints and defect management.
  • Drive cutover and go-live execution plan.
  • Manage senior stakeholder communication and remove blockers quickly.
Must-Have Experience:
  • Workday implementation project management experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing testing cycles and go-live readiness.
  • Experience working with onsite teams in PST time zone.
  • Managed Workday delivery through go-live with a testing-heavy scope.
  • Strong experience driving closure in tight timelines.
  • Experience managing onsite delivery teams.

Workday Technical Integrations Specialist

Location: Remote

Mandatory Certification: Workday Integration Certification, Workday Studio Certification

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build integrations supporting Payroll and Absence scope.
  • Develop using Workday Studio, Core Connector Worker, Core Connector Payroll, and EIB.
  • Support inbound and outbound payroll-related interfaces, including GL, bank, and vendor files.
  • Participate in integration testing cycles and resolve defects.
  • Support parallel payroll validation where integration outputs impact payroll.
  • Assist in cutover and production deployment.
  • Own integration design and delivery plan for Payroll and Absence scope.
  • Lead development using Studio, Core Connectors, and web services.
  • Drive integration testing governance and defect triage.
  • Coordinate with downstream systems such as benefits providers, banks, and finance systems.
  • Own production readiness and stabilization of the integration landscape.
Must-Have Experience:
  • Hands-on Studio development experience.
  • Experience with Core Connectors and EIB processing.
  • Experience supporting payroll-related outbound files.
  • Strong troubleshooting during testing and go-live windows.
  • Led integration delivery in at least one Workday implementation.
  • Deep expertise in Studio and Core Connectors.
  • Experience supporting payroll integration during parallel runs.
  • Strong stabilization ownership through go-live.

Special Requirements

Mandatory Certifications: PMP or Workday Project Management Certification for PM; Workday Integration Certification and Workday Studio Certification for Integrations. Experience working with onsite teams in PST time zone for PM. Screening steps and interview modes not specified.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
